Terms of use
Fair, straightforward terms.

1. Who provides the service?
11 Plus Edge is operated by Ashrafkhan Akbari, a sole trader trading as 11 Plus Edge. Contact: support@11plusedge.co.uk.
Business correspondence address: 32 Malvern Crescent, Dudley, West Midlands, DY2 0RZ.
2. Accounts and children
Account information must be accurate and login details must be kept secure. A new account must verify its email address before using protected features. We may limit repeated registrations or verification attempts to prevent misuse. A parent or guardian must create and oversee an account for a child under 13. The responsible adult must complete any paid subscription purchase.
Verification codes are confidential, expire quickly and must not be shared. Tell us promptly if an account or email address may have been accessed without permission.
3. Free access
New accounts receive seven days of full access without entering payment details. This does not convert automatically into a paid subscription. After that period, a free account can complete one mock each calendar week, subject to reasonable service availability.
4. Paid membership
When subscriptions are available, full access costs £14.99 per month or £129.99 per year. Stripe charges the payment method at checkout and then at the selected monthly or yearly interval until cancelled. The price, billing frequency, any valid promotion-code discount and renewal terms are shown again before payment.
A subscriber may cancel through the membership billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.
From time to time we may provide limited promotional voucher codes. A code only applies on Stripe Checkout when it is valid and may be subject to an expiry date, redemption limit, customer restriction or plan restriction.
5. Immediate access and cancellation rights
Paid access is supplied immediately only after the purchaser expressly requests access before the 14-day cancellation period ends and acknowledges that, once supply of the digital content begins, the statutory right to cancel that digital content during the 14-day period is lost. We send the purchaser a contract-confirmation email recording the plan, price, renewal terms, immediate-access request and cancellation information.
We do not offer an additional blanket “use and refund” guarantee after digital content has been supplied with the required consent and acknowledgement.
This does not affect statutory rights. Refunds will be provided where required by law, including where a charge is duplicated or the paid service is faulty or not as described. Contact support@11plusedge.co.uk with the account username and payment date.
6. Cancellation form
You may cancel through the billing portal. Where a statutory cancellation right applies, you may also email the following statement; using this wording is optional:
To Ashrafkhan Akbari, trading as 11 Plus Edge (support@11plusedge.co.uk): I give notice that I cancel my contract for 11 Plus Edge membership. My account username is [username]. The subscription was ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].
7. Permitted use
Membership is for personal household learning use. You must not share an account outside the household, copy or redistribute question banks, scrape the service, bypass access limits, or interfere with security or availability. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse.
8. Educational scope
11 Plus Edge provides independent 11+ practice materials and progress information. It does not guarantee admission, a particular score or suitability for every school’s selection process, and it is not operated by a school or examination authority.
9. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the service accurate and available, but maintenance, hosting faults and internet interruptions can occur. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, responsibility is limited to losses that were reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.
10. Paused tuition marketplace
The tutor directory, tutor applications, lesson requests, tuition messages and tutor reviews are not currently available. No new tuition arrangement can be made through 11 Plus Edge while the marketplace is paused.
Terms accepted and records created before the pause are not erased merely because the public feature is hidden. Existing information is handled and retained as explained in the Privacy Notice. The full tutor, safeguarding and review policies remain preserved and will be published again before the marketplace reopens.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms for legal, security or service reasons. Material changes will be brought to account holders’ attention and will not remove rights already accrued. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
